Passages of Senate Report 94-465 that identify Santos Trafficante as 'the Cosa Nostra chieftain in Cuba' and record Rosselli's account of a Miami meeting at the Fountainebleau Hotel, which Maheu denied.

The report is "Alleged Assassination Plots Involving Foreign Leaders," an interim report dated 20 November 1975 and printed as S. Rept. 94-465. This page cites printed pages 77, 80 and 81 (PDF pages 88, 91 and 92); printed page equals PDF page minus 11 in the body. The 24 MB PDF's cover OCR reads "94-165," but the document is S. Rept. 94-465.

At p. 77 the report states that the CIA's "Support Chief" learned from a "Parade" supplement article that "Joe" was Santos Trafficante, "the Cosa Nostra chieftain in Cuba," and that Trafficante "made regular trips between Miami and Cuba on gambling syndicate business." At pp. 80-81 it records John Rosselli's account that poison pills and money were delivered to a Cuban at a meeting of Maheu, Rosselli, Trafficante and the Cuban at "the Fountainebleau Hotel in Miami." It notes that Maheu denied the event and that Joseph Shimon gave a different version. The report also records the Inspector General's finding that a Cuban exile contact may have been receiving funds from Trafficante and other racketeers interested in gambling monopolies in Cuba after Castro's overthrow.

The page is the committee's report of testimony and CIA records. It is not a finding of the underlying events beyond what it states. The report spells the name "Rosselli."

A different extract of the same report (PDF page 88, on Giancana) is filed as a separate record.
