Appeals arising from the 1988 Fulton Fish Market consent judgment. The Second Circuit affirmed the extensions of the court-appointed Administrator's term and fines he imposed on owners of unloading crews.

United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit, decided 15 May 1995. The suit was brought "in connection with the operation of the Fulton Fish Market (the 'Market') in lower Manhattan." The court describes the Government's claim: "that the Genovese Organized Crime Family ('Genovese Family') and 29 of its alleged members and associates had conducted, and were continuing to conduct, the affairs of the Market through a pattern of racketeering activity."

"In May 1988, the district court appointed Frank H. Wohl, Esq. to serve a four-year term as Administrator under the Consent Judgment," with power to fine, suspend and bar people from the Market, and later extended his term several times. One appeal challenged the extensions. In the other, five owners of unloading crews appealed fines the Administrator imposed on them for a scheme to suppress competition in the unloading business.

The court affirmed on both appeals. The unloaders were fined under the consent judgment for business conduct, and this archive does not name them.
