Pretrial rulings in the Brilab prosecution of Carlos Marcello, Charles E. Roemer II, I. Irving Davidson, Vincent Marinello and Aubrey Young: motions to dismiss deferred until trial, other substantive motions denied, and rulings on suppression of recorded conversations and on disclosure of an informer.

The opinion is a pretrial minute entry and rulings in Criminal Action 80-274. The court defers the defendants' motions to dismiss for governmental misconduct, artificially created jurisdiction and selective prosecution until trial, denies other substantive motions, and addresses motions to suppress recorded conversations and wiretap evidence and a motion to disclose an informer's identity. The Fifth Circuit later affirmed in part on pages 601-07 of this opinion (the affidavit for electronic surveillance).
