# FBI Vault: Carlo Gambino, Part 01

Canonical: https://mobfiles.org/items/fbi-vault-carlo-gambino-p01/

Part 01 of 14 of the FBI's Carlo Gambino file: serials from 1958 and about 1970, many partly withheld. The OCR is poor, and nothing is taken from it here.

Part 01 of the Vault's fourteen-part file on Carlo Gambino, 142 pages, read through the viewer's OCR text layer. The serials date from 1958 and from about 1970, and many are partly withheld. The stored image is the first page as the viewer serves it.

The OCR of this part is poor, and this archive takes no fact from it. Later parts were not read. His death and the Bureau's later reporting on his position are expected there.

For a Bureau statement about Gambino that was read, see the 1962 report in the [Paul Castellano file](/items/fbi-vault-paul-castellano-p01/); for the 1963 testimony, see the [Valachi hearings](/items/valachi-hearings-part-1-1963/).
