Canonical: https://mobfiles.org/items/kefauver-part-4a-missouri-1950/

Printed hearings of the Senate Special Committee to Investigate Organized Crime in Interstate Commerce, Part 4A, Missouri: sessions in Washington, St. Louis, and Kansas City, June 1950 to February 1951.

The title page reads "Investigation of Organized Crime in Interstate Commerce. Hearings before a Special Committee to Investigate Organized Crime in Interstate Commerce, United States Senate", and this volume is Part 4A, headed "Missouri". The dates printed on the title page are June 13, 29; July 18, 19, 20; September 29, 30, 1950; February 23, 24, 1951. The volume belongs to the 81st Congress, 2d session, and 82d Congress, 1st session. It is part of the printed record of the committee created by Senate Resolution 202 (81st Congress), the Kefauver Committee, and prints sworn testimony, a contents list of witnesses with page numbers, and a schedule of exhibits. The Internet Archive scan has 844 page images.

The session datelines place the hearings in Washington, St. Louis, and Kansas City. The session lines print these rooms and buildings:

- Room G-8 (the OCR reads "G^8"), United States Capitol
- Room 908, Home Owners' Loan Corporation Building, Washington
- Courtroom No. 3, United States Courthouse and Customhouse, Twelfth and Market Streets, St. Louis, Mo.
- Court room No. 3, United States Courthouse, Kansas City, Mo.
- Courtroom No. 1, United States Court House and Custom House, St. Louis

The contents page lists, among the witnesses, Balestrere, James; Gizzo, Anthony R.; Lacoco, Thomas (Tano); DiGiovanni, Joe; DiGiovanni, Peter; Chiappetta, Vincent; Carroll, James J.; Brown, William; Molasky, William; Pendergast, James M.; Connor, John T.; Holzhausen, Col. William L.; Hackethal, Frank; Klein, Morris (Snags); Osadchey, Edward Philip (Eddie Spitz); Randazzo, Marion. The names follow the contents page; spelling was corrected only where the OCR was plainly wrong. A list of witnesses is not a list of findings: the volume prints questions and answers, and this archive does not summarize them.

Many of the sessions in this volume are marked executive session in the printed datelines. Part 4 is the first Missouri volume.

The archive.org copy is a Boston Public Library scan of the Government Printing Office print, and the Internet Archive marks it not in copyright. The room lines and datelines above were read from the archive's OCR text of the scan.
