Canonical: https://mobfiles.org/items/loc-2006675962-seneca-agents-examine-barrels/

Library of Congress photograph from the Seneca series showing prohibition agents examining barrels on a captured boat. The title says 1924; the Library dates the print c1925.

The Library of Congress title is "Coast Guard Cutter, USS Seneca chasing and capturing a 'rum runner' 1924: Prohibition agents examining barrels on boat." The title attributes the capture to the cutter Seneca in 1924, while the record's own date is c1925; this page gives both and does not choose. The caption-card data is flagged by the Library as unverified.

The copy stored here is the Library of Congress service JPEG.
