A glass-negative photograph of Kansas City's Union Station and its loading dock, with an American Railway Express truck, made between 1910 and 1930. A period view of the building, not of the 1933 shooting.

The Library of Congress item (title devised by a cataloger) is a photograph of a photographic print labeled "Anderson, K.C.," showing Union Station and its loading dock, with "American Railway Express" on a truck and "The Journal-Post" on a sign. It is dated between 1910 and 1930 and so predates the events of 17 June 1933. The FBI's history essay places the shooting "directly in front of the east entrance of Union Station"; this photograph does not show that entrance and is included only as a period view of the building.
