U.S. News & World Report photograph by Warren K. Leffler looking across a committee table toward a packed hearing room with press lights and cameras, 26 February 1957. A copy is stored here.

The Library of Congress carries the photographer's log-book title "McClellan Committee investigating Teamsters Union, Sen. Investigating Sub Comm." and dates the frame 26 February 1957, the same day as [the other wide view](/items/loc-2017657535-mcclellan-committee-hearing-room-1957-02-26-a/).

The Library's record does not describe the scene. The description here comes from the image: a view across a committee table toward a packed room, with press lights and cameras at the back. No witness is named and this page does not tie the frame to a printed hearing volume.
