Canonical: https://mobfiles.org/items/loc-98506512-meyer-lansky-1958/

New York World-Telegram & Sun staff photograph by Al Ravenna of Meyer Lansky, half-length and facing front, dated 1958 by the Library of Congress. A copy is stored here.

The Library of Congress titles this print "[Meyer Lansky, half-length portrait, facing front] / World Telegram & Sun photo by Al. Ravenna." The title was devised by Library staff. The record gives 1958 as the date and names no occasion or place.

Two other 1958 World-Telegram photographs of Lansky are filed here: [his booking at the 54th Street police station](/items/loc-98506863-meyer-lansky-booking-1958/) and [being led by a detective](/items/loc-98506876-meyer-lansky-detective-1958/). Those are by a different photographer, and this page does not say that the portrait was taken on the same day.

The Library's rights statement covers World-Telegram & Sun staff photographs only, and the record identifies this print as one. The copy stored here is the Library's service JPEG.
