Canonical: https://mobfiles.org/items/nara-12021802-johnson-notes-1931/

Handwritten notes dated 8 October 1931 that the catalog says U.S. Attorney George E. Q. Johnson made during the Capone income-tax prosecution.

Two pages of handwritten notes dated 8 October 1931, during the trial. The catalog says George E. Q. Johnson made them during the government's income-tax prosecution of Al Capone. It holds them as two page images and a PDF.

The catalog title is "U.S. Attorney General George E. Q. Johnson's Handwritten Notes." That title is wrong about his office: Johnson was the United States Attorney at Chicago, and his signed letter of 6 May 1931 in the same file says so.

The pages were not read for this archive, so nothing from them is quoted. The description follows the National Archives catalog entry.
