An Army Hometown News Center photograph of Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri, dated 11 November 1961, from the Truman Library. It shows the building, not the events of 17 June 1933.

The National Archives catalog title is "Union Station," Truman Library identifier 62-747-02, dated 11 November 1961. The description reads "A view of Union Station, Kansas City, Missouri," with the credit "Army Hometown News Center, Kansas City, MO."

The photograph is taken across a lawn toward the large stone station, its front marked by three tall arched windows, with parking lots full of cars in front and the downtown skyline behind.

The picture was taken twenty-eight years after the shooting of 17 June 1933 outside the station, which the FBI history and the court records filed here describe. It shows the building only. Nothing in it marks the place where the shooting happened, and this page does not mark one.
