National Archives finding-aid entry for a file unit of the Kefauver Committee's own records in Record Group 46: digests of hearings. The catalog shows no digitized pages.

The National Archives catalog title is "Digests of Hearings of the Special Committee to Investigate Organized Crime in Interstate Commerce from the 81st and 82nd Congresses." The file unit belongs to the committee's own records, held by the Center for Legislative Archives in the Records of the U.S. Senate (Record Group 46), in the series "Records Relating to Hearings (NAID 579677)."

The catalog's scope note, paraphrased: mimeographed abstracts of Parts 1 to 12 of the printed hearings, with witness names, hearing dates and page references. The catalog shows no digitized pages for this file unit, so this page describes the catalog entry only and does not describe any document inside it.

The dates given are the life of the committee, the 81st and 82nd Congresses, as the title states; the catalog gives no narrower date. Reading the file would need a reading-room visit or a reproduction order from the National Archives.
