The court's forty-page charge to the jury in the first Urschel kidnaping trial at Oklahoma City, dated 30 September 1933.

The catalog note reads: "These are the instructions to the jury on how they should judge the facts. The case also involved George R. 'Machine' Kelly and his wife Kathryn Thorne Kelly." The item is dated September 30, 1933 and has forty page images.

The first trial was of the defendants then in custody; the Kellys were still at large. The FBI's history page says that on September 30 the jury returned guilty verdicts against R. G. Shannon, Ora L. Shannon, Armon Shannon, Albert L. Bates, Harvey J. Bailey and others. The instructions themselves were not transcribed for this archive.
