Part 2 of the 1980 Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations hearings on organized-crime violence. A Cleveland case summary printed in the record says four admitted "hit men" cooperated with federal authorities after the 1976-77 bombings, naming James "Jimmy the Weasel" Fratianno and Raymond Ferritto.

Part 2 of the subcommittee's 1980 hearings, held May 2 and 5, 1980. The scan is printed two pages to a sheet. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms testified (its director's introduction is at printed page 389), and case summaries are printed in the record at pages 402 to 409.

The summary headed "Nardi-Greene" (printed pages 408 and 409) says that "In 1976, a series of violent explosions began occurring in the Cleveland area," that Teamster official John Nardi and Daniel Greene were both killed by remotely detonated bombs in cars parked beside theirs, and that "Four admitted "hit men" would cooperate with Federal authorities in the end, including the alleged west coast LCN enforcer, James "Jimmy the Weasel" Fratianno." It names Raymond Ferritto and a third man as two other "hit men." The volume's index lists Fratianno at page 408.

Fratianno did not testify in this volume; this is a case summary, and its words "alleged west coast LCN enforcer" are the summary's, not a finding. The research record notes that the summary appears near a Treasury Department submission, and the submitting agency has not been confirmed from the page images. Part 1 of the hearings (NCJ 70066) was also read and does not mention Fratianno.
