The Supreme Court upheld, 9 June 1924, the Supplemental Prohibition Act's ban on physicians prescribing malt liquor as medicine. The printed counsel line lists Mrs. Mabel Walker Willebrandt on the government's brief.

Argued March 4 and 5, 1924, decided June 9, 1924; Nos. 200 and 245. In an opinion by Justice Sanford, the Court upheld section 2 of the Supplemental Prohibition Act of 1921 so far as it forbids physicians to prescribe intoxicating malt liquors for medicinal purposes, and affirmed.

The printed counsel line for the appellees reads: "Mr. Solicitor General Beck, with whom Mrs. Mabel Walker Willebrandt and Mr. Mahlon D. Kiefer were on the brief, for appellees." The line does not give her title. This archive files the case for that line only; it records her place on the government's brief, not any argument she made.
