Release on a 33-count Bonanno family indictment, stating that since March 2002 four Bonanno bosses or acting bosses had been convicted. The new charges are allegations.

The Eastern District of New York's archived release of October 7, 2009, issued under U.S. Attorney Benton J. Campbell, announced a 33-count indictment of members and associates of the Bonanno family. It gives the courthouse as 225 Cadman Plaza East, Brooklyn.

The release places the case in a sequence: since March 2002, "four Bonanno family bosses or acting bosses – Joseph Massino, Anthony Urso, Vincent Basciano, and Michael Mancuso – have been convicted." That is the U.S. Attorney's statement about earlier cases. The 2009 defendants are presumed innocent, and their names are not copied here.
