# Exhibit No. 53: "Rhode Island and Boston, Mass. Organization"

Canonical: https://mobfiles.org/items/valachi-exhibit-53-rhode-island-boston-chart/

Fold-out chart entered on October 15, 1963, with a "former boss" residing in Italy, a man labelled "Boss," and Rhode Island and Boston members below.

Exhibit No. 53 faces printed page 551 of Part 2. It was entered with the testimony of Walter E. Stone of Rhode Island on October 15, 1963. It was scanned in three segments, at NCJRS PDF pages 615 to 617. The image stored here is the first segment, PDF page 615.

The chart is headed "Rhode Island and Boston, Mass. Organization." At the top it prints "Phillip Bruccola (Former Boss) alias Philip Buccola," marked as residing in Italy. Below is "Raymond Patriarca alias John D'Nabile (Boss)," and then "Genaro J. Angiulo alias Jerry Angiulo." A "Rhode Island" group follows. A legend codes inter-family, criminal-activity and commercial relationships, and lists criminal activities. Segments at PDF pages 616 and 617 have been checked only through the text layer. Exhibits 54 to 63, which are letters, photographs, and police and FBI records, were filed with the subcommittee and not printed.

This is a subcommittee exhibit. The names, ranks and relationships printed on it are the labels of a 1963 police or staff chart. They are not findings of the subcommittee or of a court, and this archive does not copy any of them onto a family page or a person page. The scan is the Bureau of Narcotics library copy of the printed hearings. The fold-out was photographed in overlapping segments, so a name at the edge of one segment may be cut off and repeated on the next.
