How to cite Mob Files: use a finished record, follow it to the government source, and do not treat a stub as fact.

The machine index is [llms.txt](/llms.txt). A Markdown twin of a page is the page URL with the trailing slash removed and `.md` added. The home page twin is [/index.md](/index.md).

Cite a record page, then the source URL on that page. Do not cite a family chart, a regional hub, or a Capone spoke as a finished account while it is marked noindex. Do not invent a NAID, a docket, or a newspaper page that the record does not name.

Facts stay inside the document. Ranks, killings, and family trees are added only when a filed record states them.
