Convicted in 1972 of conspiring to accept a bribe affecting the Teamsters Central States Pension Fund, where the Second Circuit described him as special consultant. The Seventh Circuit records that he was found guilty of conspiring to bribe a senator and was murdered before sentencing.

This page is limited to federal court records, two McClellan Committee hearings and a Senate report. The courts' statements about Dorfman concern the pension fund, a 1967 loan and a bribery prosecution. The Eighth Circuit's Argent opinion gives the Government's account of the fund and Dorfman, and that account is not a finding. No opened record states a family or rank for Dorfman. No opinion opened for this page gives the date or circumstances of his death.
