# Anthony Indelicato

Canonical: https://mobfiles.org/people/anthony-indelicato/

Commission case defendant. The Second Circuit wrote that the government established he was a Bonanno family member approved by the Commission for promotion to capo after the Galante murders, and reversed his substantive RICO conviction.

Two federal records place him differently. The FBI's February 1985 briefing outline on the Commission indictment lists "Anthony Indelicato, solider, Bonanno family" among the murders the Commission "authorized." The court record makes him a defendant in the Galante killing: the en banc Second Circuit states that he and two other men shot Galante, Turano and Coppola, and that he was convicted. The FBI's May 1981 teletypes report that he was in hiding with a contract on his life, and the 1982 indictment charged a conspiracy to murder him. He was not killed, and both records are given here. The outline's line is not repeated as fact.

His sentence is the court's: two consecutive 20-year terms. Pistone's recollection of "35 years" is testimony and is not used. The 2008 release does not mention the 1979 case; the name and the alias "Bruno" match the Anthony "Bruno" Indelicato of the 1982 indictment, and this page treats them as one person on that basis. The 20-year term in 2008 is the expected term under the plea agreement, as the release states it; no judgment is filed here. The family and role lines are the Commission appeal's, and the [Bonanno family chart](/families/bonanno/) is not filled from them.
