# Anthony Provenzano

Officer of Teamsters Local 560 in New Jersey. Convicted of Hobbs Act extortion (affirmed 1964) and of RICO offenses (affirmed 1980); named by the Government in the Local 560 civil RICO case and the 1988 Teamsters complaint. A 1989 opinion records that he had died since the 1988 complaint was filed.

This page is limited to court opinions and one Senate hearing. No record filed here places him in a crime family, and the extortion-and-murder allegation in the Local 560 case is the Government's complaint, not a finding against him. The McClellan Committee's OCR prints his local as "Local 660"; the court records say Local 560.
