Wanted by the Division of Investigation under the stolen-car law from May 1933; named in Identification Order No. 1227; killed with Bonnie Parker by officers near Sailes, Louisiana on 23 May 1934, as the FBI states.

Filed in the Public Enemies side section. This is not an organized-crime family page: the records here are federal fugitive, court and prison records.

No federal record opened for this archive gives his date of birth. The aliases are those printed on Identification Order No. 1227. The FBI's list of killings it says he was suspected of is the Bureau's summary, not a record of convictions.
