First-named appellant in the Illinois Supreme Court's 1967 decision ordering fifteen subpoenaed men to appear at the state crime commission's hearings on the "juice" racket. An informant in a 1962 FBI report named him one of Giancana's top lieutenants; a 1974 FBI teletype refers to him as deceased in 1973.

The court record names him only in its caption. The words "top lieutenants" are an informant's, and "LCN leader" is a phrase in an FBI teletype about another subject; neither is a finding, so family and role are empty. The died field is the year in that teletype, which gives no date or cause; no death record was opened. No federal opinion with him as a party was found.
