Indicted with James Burke at Tampa in 1970 in a federal extortion case, according to the FBI file. In 1983 the Second Circuit described him as the principal government witness in the Boston College point-shaving trial, testifying under an immunity agreement.

No family or role is set. The Second Circuit calls him "a reputed underworld figure from New York"; that describes a reputation, not a rank.
