# Ilario M.A. Zannino

Convicted in Boston on two gambling counts and one extortionate-credit count from the 1981 North End surveillance case, with a 30-year sentence affirmed in 1990. The First Circuit, on the trial evidence, calls him a "Capo Regime" in the Patriarca Family.

He was tried on three counts only: two counts of conducting an illegal gambling business and one extortionate extension of credit. The RICO count in the 1983 indictment was not part of that trial. The role line is the appeals court's statement of what the trial evidence established. The 1999 opinion spells the first name "Illario." No opened record gives his birth or death date.
