Testified to the Kefauver Committee in 1951 that he held 13 percent of the Desert Inn and was an officer of its corporation. An FBI airtel of July 1961 lists him at Las Vegas among hoodlums selected for concentrated investigation.

This page is limited to federal records. The Kefauver Committee heard Dalitz in Los Angeles on February 28, 1951. A summary from the Chicago Crime Commission about his earlier years in Cleveland was read into the record by committee staff, and he disputed parts of it. That summary is not repeated here and is not a finding. The FBI's 1961 list uses "hoodlums" as its program label and states no organization or rank. No family or rank is stated for Dalitz in any record opened for this page. No federal opinion naming him was opened.
