# Philip Testa

Named by the Third Circuit as underboss of the enterprise Angelo Bruno headed, and as Bruno's successor as boss in 1980. Killed by a bomb at his house in early 1981; FBI testimony gives March 18, 1981.

The role line quotes two Third Circuit opinions stating the trial records. The date of death is from FBI testimony to the Senate; the Third Circuit says "early 1981." "Phillip" is the Pungitore opinion's spelling. No opened record gives his birth date.
