# Sam Carollo

Canonical: https://mobfiles.org/people/sam-carollo/

Appears in the 1951 Louisiana hearings as a man 'deported here recently' and as the father of Anthony Carollo; an exhibit says he was deported to Italy in 1947 and is 'believed to be in Mexico.' The record spells the name Sam, Sylvestro and Corolla and does not say they are the same man.

The hearing record uses three spellings: "Sam Carollo" (counsel's questions and a narcotics agent's answer), "Sam Corolla" (an OCR reading in the sheriff's testimony) and "Sylvestro Carollo" (Exhibit 7). The opened pages do not state that they are the same man, and this page treats them together only because the questions and answers refer to a recent deportee. No birth or death date, no role and no position is given in the sources opened, and none is entered.

Everything below is a committee exhibit's statement, a witness's recollection or counsel's question. The questions are not evidence.
