# Vernon C. Miller

Identified by the FBI as the leader of the gunmen at Union Station on 17 June 1933 and named with Richetti and Floyd in a federal conspiracy indictment concerning the custody of Frank Nash; the FBI says his body was found near Detroit on 29 November 1933. No conviction of Miller exists in the records filed.

For the shooting, this page says only "identified by the FBI." The Bureau's attribution was not tested in a trial of Miller, who was dead before any trial. No role or family is entered. The indictment names him with aliases; the FBI essay calls him Verne Miller. The FBI essay dates the finding of his body, not his death, so the died field gives the year only.
