# William G. (Butsy) O'Brien

Canonical: https://mobfiles.org/people/william-g-obrien/

Named in Kefauver Committee staff exhibits as the head of Intra-State News, a Miami wire service, and among the wire-service witnesses the committee could not serve in 1950.

Everything on this page comes from the committee staff's exhibits; no role is set. A committee report of March 1951 on the contempt of a William G. O'Brien is [filed separately](/items/kefauver-contempt-s-rept-82-205-obrien/). That page does not say whether he is the head of Intra-State News, and this page does not merge the two.
