United States District Court, Eastern District of New York, No. CR-90-1051, memorandum and order of July 19, 1991 by District Judge Glasser. John Gleeson, Assistant U.S. Attorney, appeared for the government; counsel appeared for Gotti, Locascio, Gravano and Gambino.

The defendants moved to suppress the “Ravenite tapes,” conversations recorded at the Ravenite Social Club, 247 Mulberry Street, and related locations. One argument concerned “interceptions pursuant to the September 25, 1989 order and its extensions.” The court denied the motions.

The Second Circuit later described these recordings as “the most significant evidence” at the trial (6 F.3d 924).
