Rights
A federal court opinion. A work of the United States government, public domain under 17 U.S.C. § 105. The text was read on CourtListener; no publisher headnote is used.

The opinion is a pretrial minute entry and rulings in Criminal Action 80-274. The court defers the defendants’ motions to dismiss for governmental misconduct, artificially created jurisdiction and selective prosecution until trial, denies other substantive motions, and addresses motions to suppress recorded conversations and wiretap evidence and a motion to disclose an informer’s identity. The Fifth Circuit later affirmed in part on pages 601-07 of this opinion (the affidavit for electronic surveillance).
