United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit, docket 87-1097, decided March 16, 1989. Seventeen defendants had been charged in a sixty-four count indictment with leading, managing and taking part in a racketeering enterprise aimed at “the New York moving and storage industry,” through Teamsters Local 814.

The enterprise was alleged to have run “from approximately January 1, 1964, to June 11, 1985.” The court found no merit in the defendants’ contentions and concluded: “The judgments of conviction are affirmed as to all defendants.”

Rastelli was originally named in the Commission case but severed because he was on trial in the Eastern District in another case (868 F.2d 524).
