The FBI Vault titles this five-part file “Angelo Annaloro (Angelo Bruno).” It does not say which surname is the alias. Part 01 opens with a deleted-page sheet recording 282 pages withheld or duplicate.

The early serials are Philadelphia field-office teletypes dated March 22, 1980, captioned “GANGMURS, ANGELO BRUNO - VICTIM.” They report the Philadelphia police response to a shooting on the evening of Friday, March 21, 1980, in which Bruno was pronounced dead at the scene; the driver was reported struck by stray pellets and in good condition at a hospital. Later teletypes describe surveillance of a “Bruno faction” and of Testa, and coordination with the Philadelphia police homicide unit and the Strike Force.

The OCR renders the year of the shooting as 1986; evidence sheets dated 3/26/80 and 3/31/80 and the 1988 Senate testimony give 1980. A street name in the teletype is too garbled to read, so no address is given. Every detail is read from the viewer’s OCR. Parts 02 to 05 were not opened.
