The Vault lists one part, “Frank Nitti Part 01 (Final),” of 121 scanned pages. This archive read it through the viewer’s OCR text layer.

Pages 45–46 are a letter from the Bureau of Investigation office in Chicago to the Director, dated October 3. The year is illegible in the OCR. It answers a request for information so that an identification order could be issued. It lists the subject as “Frank R. Nitto, alias Frank Nitti, alias Frank Novelli,” gives his occupation as liquor dealer, and states: “Frank Nitto is a member of the Al Capone Gang of Chicago, Illinois.” It reports that he “was indicted by the Federal Grand Jury at Chicago, Illinois on March 14, 1930” for evading income tax of $97,699.25 on net income of $426,261.99 for 1925, with further counts for failing to file returns for 1925, 1926, and 1927. The date on this page is the year of that indictment. The letter itself was written on or after it.

The letter also gives a physical description, the names of his parents, and two arrests in Chicago that ended in discharge. This page does not repeat them.
