The Library of Congress titles this frame “[Teamster President James ‘Jimmy’ Hoffa holding a stack of papers while appearing before the Senate Select Committee on Improper Activities in Labor and Management, also known as the ‘McClellan Committee’]” and dates it 24 January 1961. The brackets mark a staff-devised title; the photographer’s log-book caption reads “Hoffa - Senate Hearing 01/24/1961.”

The Internet Archive catalog gives the printed Select Committee hearings as held from 26 February 1957 to 9 September 1959, so this page does not pair the frame with a hearing volume. Two other frames from the same day are filed as Hoffa taking the oath and Hoffa testifying.
