A Bureau of Prisons record, public domain under 17 U.S.C. § 105. Series "Warden's Notebook Pages" (NAID 296686), Records of the Bureau of Prisons (Record Group 129), National Archives at San Francisco. The National Archives catalog marks the item "Use Restriction: Unrestricted." The series note says that some information on the pages is incorrect when compared with the fuller inmate files, and that clippings in the series may be copyrighted; this page is a prison form. The copy stored here is a downsample of the first digitized image.

The National Archives catalog titles this page “MULLOY, FRANK BERNARD “FRITZ” - Alcatraz Number 330 - Warden’s Notebook.” It is a Bureau of Prisons notebook form with an identification photograph at the upper right; the placard in the photograph reads “U.S. Penitentiary Alcatraz 330”. It belongs to the series Warden’s Notebook Pages (NAID 296686).

The typed entries, as printed: name “Frank B. Mulloy,” No. 330, received Aug. 6, 1936 from Leavenworth, age 49, date of birth 1/8/88. Offense “Conspiracy,” dated Jan. 5, 1935; sentence “2 years & $10,000 fine”; district sentenced “W/Missouri-Kansas City.” A red note records that he was released on writ and bond on 1-19-35 and returned on 3-28-36, “434 days out of prison, which sentence does not run.” The red header reads “TRANSFERRED TO USP LEAVENWORTH, SEPTEMBER 25, 1937.” The “Reason for Transfer” box is a staff characterization of the case that recommends “Transfer to Alcatraz as a matter of Public Policy”; it is staff opinion, and this archive takes from the page only the offense of record, “Conspiracy.”

Catalog data, labelled as such: offense “CONSPIRACY TO OBSTRUCT JUSTICE (RELEASE OF FEDERAL” (truncated in the catalog); received at Alcatraz 08/06/1936 from US Penitentiary, Leavenworth; transferred 09/25/1937 to US Penitentiary, Leavenworth; the remark reads “KCUS MASSACRE,” which the catalog does not expand; birth date 01/08/1888; death date 12/31/1963, place “IL.” This archive has not checked that remark against a record of the 1933 Kansas City Union Station case and does not say what part, if any, he had in it.
