A three-part fold-out world map titled “The flow of worldwide traffic in illicit narcotics.” It faces printed page 1330 of Part 5 and was scanned in many segments, at NCJRS PDF pages 1458 to 1481. It traces opium, morphine and heroin routes.
The segments carry little text in the text layer. The image stored here is PDF page 1468, the segment over Europe, the Mediterranean and North Africa, with an “Opium Poppies” label over Turkey. The legend, “Opium / Morphine / Heroin (diacetylmorphine)” with symbols for laboratory and transportation by land, sea and air, is repeated on PDF pages 1461, 1470 and 1479. The map’s title is not on the segments viewed. The segments carry little text in the text layer. This archive has not viewed them and has not stored an image.
This is a subcommittee exhibit. The names, ranks and relationships printed on it are the labels of a 1963 police or staff chart. They are not findings of the subcommittee or of a court, and this archive does not copy any of them onto a family page or a person page.
