United States Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit, argued February 25, 2011, decided February 16, 2012, before Easterbrook, Chief Judge, and Rovner and Wood; the opinion is by Rovner.

The appellant was a Deputy U.S. Marshal convicted of stealing government property and disclosing, without authorization, information about a witness protected in the Witness Security Program. The opinion identifies that witness as Nicholas Calabrese, a “made” member of the Chicago Outfit and a key witness in the Family Secrets case.

In discussing the evidence, the opinion states that two men in the case were incarcerated with members of the Chicago Outfit, among them John “No Nose” DiFronzo and Joey “the Clown” Lombardo. This archive cites the opinion for that statement. It does not restate the rest of the case beyond what is above.
