Part 01 of the Vault’s file titled “Carmine John Persico, Jr.,” 50 pages, read through the viewer’s OCR text layer. The serials run from the 1970s to 1985. The stored image is the first page as the viewer serves it.

Several teletypes report what sources told the Bureau about Persico. A 1985 teletype lists the defendants in the Commission indictment of February 25, 1985, each with a title, among them Salerno, Castellano and Rastelli as bosses; the OCR of that list is badly garbled (for example, “PHILLIP RASTELLI … BOSS AKA BONANNOFAMILY”).

Persico is treated on this archive as a person whose death no opened record states, so his person page cites court records only. This part is listed here as a record; its statements are not used for his role. The indictment the teletype lists is the case decided on appeal in 868 F.2d 524.
