FBI "Mafia" monograph, Part 04: the 1928 Cleveland meeting and the 1957 Apalachin meeting compared
Page of an FBI monograph whose first legible line names Joseph Magliocco among those present at the 1957 Apalachin meeting (the sentence begins on the preceding page) and which begins a list of "parallels" with the 1928 Cleveland meeting. The monograph is undated in the pages examined.

Part 04 (Final) of the FBI Vault’s “Mafia Monograph,” scan 34 (printed page 87). The pages examined give no date for the monograph. The page cites internal FBI file serials in parentheses.
The legible sentence reads: “Joseph Magliocco, were present at the 1957 Apalachin meeting. They represent the continuity of Italian-Sicilian hoodlums meeting, conferring, and cooperating throughout a period of at least 30 years.” The sentence begins on the preceding page, so the first name is cut off and is not inferred here. The page goes on to a list of “parallels” between the 1928 Cleveland meeting and the Apalachin meeting.
The page also calls Vincent Mangano “a Mafia leader” on the Brooklyn waterfront at the 1928 meeting. That is an FBI assertion supported by FBI file cites, and this archive does not use it as a fact. Magliocco appears in the Second Circuit’s account of those stopped. The page goes on to discuss Profaci, but because the sentence naming those present begins on the preceding page, this archive does not take from this page who else it lists.
