The Vault viewer shows 323 pages. They include a Justice Department memorandum of December 3, 1981 on closed-circuit television authority in the RICO case; Newark airtels and teletypes; and many FD-302 surveillance logs of 1982 covering locations in Atlantic City, Ventnor, Margate and Longport. Several late pages summarize source information about Salvatore (Sal) Testa, whom one Newark serial describes as the son of the late Phillip Testa.
A Newark report describes a boxing event at an Atlantic City casino on February 21, 1982 at which Scarfo was observed with others. The casino’s name is garbled in the OCR; it may read Claridge, but this archive has not checked the page image and does not name the casino.
Every detail is read from the viewer’s OCR, which is poor; the page images could not be downloaded. Surveillance logs record what agents saw and are not charges.
