Exhibit No. 10 is printed sideways at page 413 of Part 4. Chief counsel Rudolph Halley offered three charts “for identification” during the testimony of narcotics agent Claude A. Follmer on September 28, 1950, and the chairman received them as exhibits 9, 10 and 11 (printed page 88). The contents describe it as a “Chart used by the committee showing alleged operations and members of the Mafia.” It carries the committee’s credit line.

The chart is a fan headed “The Mafia,” divided into “Murder” and “Narcotics,” with city names around its arc, from Denver, San Francisco and Chicago to Galveston, New York, Detroit, Tampa, New Orleans and Los Angeles, and a section for Kansas City, Mo., with boxes headed “Dice,” “Bookmaking,” “Liquor,” “Bootleggers” and “Wire Service.” Lists below are headed “Alleged Members” and “Unsolved Murders.” Halley asked Follmer whether he could identify “the persons who are listed on the left-hand lower side as persons who have been described to you” (printed page 90).

This is a hearing exhibit. The names, ranks and relationships printed on it are the labels of a 1950 committee staff chart, and the chart itself calls its list “alleged”. They are not findings of the committee or of a court, and this archive does not copy any of them onto a family page or a person page.
