Exhibit No. 54 is printed sideways at page 458 of Part 6, captioned “Jungle Inn.” On January 18, 1951, associate counsel Joseph L. Nellis asked that photographs of the Jungle Inn be “put in the record under Mr. Rutkowski’s name as exhibits.” Anthony A. Rutkowski was chief of the enforcement division of the Ohio Department of Liquor Control (printed pages 210 to 212). Rutkowski said: “The first picture is a picture of the two buildings that comprise the Jungle Inn.” He described the first building as holding “an up-to-date bar and a kitchen and slot machines, and the office of the owners and operators.” The chairman had it marked Exhibit 54.

The photograph shows low buildings beside a road and open ground. The printed record does not give a street address for the building, and none is added here.

This is a hearing exhibit. Its caption is the printed record’s description of the picture, not a finding of the committee or of a court, and nothing on it is copied to a family page or a person page.
