A typed index card from the U.S. Penitentiary at Atlanta, held by the National Archives at Atlanta in Record Group 129, in the file unit “Atlanta Federal Penitentiary, Index to Prisoners - Curry, Edward-Daneko.” The research for this archive found it at digital object 386; object 385 is a second card for the same man with the same entries.
The card is headed “Phillip Louis D’Andrea” and reads: name “D’ANDREA, Phil,” No. 63777-A, alias “Philip D’Andrea; Philil D’Andrea; Phillip LaVerne; Etc.” The crime is “Consp. to interfere with trade & Commerce by coercion, threats & violence,” the district “S-NY-New York,” the sentence 10 years with a fine of $10,000. The date is 12-31-43, received 4-4-44, sentence begins 3-8-44, parole time 7-7-47, full time 3-7-54, residence “Crete, Ill.” A stamp reads “Transferred to U.S. Penitentiary Leavenworth, Kansas JUL 28 1945.”
The card names a town only for the residence. It has no later receipt. The 1948 and 1951 court opinions filed here concern warrants against Campagna, Gioe and De Lucia, not D’Andrea.
