The enrolled joint resolution, S.J. Res. 211, 72d Congress, 2d session, states in Section 1 that the eighteenth article of amendment is repealed. Section 2 prohibits the transportation or importation of intoxicating liquors into a state in violation of its laws. The resolution provides for ratification by conventions in three-fourths of the states. The signer names are read from the signature lines and have not been checked against a printed source.

The catalog gives no item date, so only the year is recorded. NARA’s education site DocsTeach, which cites this same item, gives 2/20/1933 in its header and elsewhere says the resolution was passed on February 21, 1933; because those two dates differ, this page does not state a day. The item is in Record Group 11.
