The Eastern District of New York’s archived release of October 7, 2009, issued under U.S. Attorney Benton J. Campbell, announced a 33-count indictment of members and associates of the Bonanno family. It gives the courthouse as 225 Cadman Plaza East, Brooklyn.

The release places the case in a sequence: since March 2002, “four Bonanno family bosses or acting bosses – Joseph Massino, Anthony Urso, Vincent Basciano, and Michael Mancuso – have been convicted.” That is the U.S. Attorney’s statement about earlier cases. The 2009 defendants are presumed innocent, and their names are not copied here.
