On the record
- 1979-05-08 — A digitized transcript in the National Archives is titled "Excerpt: Opening Statement by Mr. Gregorie and Testimony of Anthony Ciulla, Fourth Day of Jury Trial." Only its cover has been read for this archive.
- 1981-10-30 — United States v. Martorano, 663 F.2d 1113: the new-trial motions rested on the "Detroit Information," described as "several FBI reports of interviews with Anthony Ciulla conducted in 1976, 1977 and 1978 relative to race fixing in the Detroit, Michigan, area and Ciulla's grand jury testimony in Detroit." The court found the material exculpatory and said the prosecutor should have checked it, but held that it did not create a reasonable doubt, and affirmed. The same day's opinion on the direct appeals, United States v. Winter, 663 F.2d 1120, calls Ciulla the Government's principal witness.
Ciulla appears in these records as a witness. His testimony has not been read for this archive and is not summarized here. The records state no role for him in any group.
