On the record

  • 26 June 1980 — FBI Las Vegas FD-302 surveillance logs from June 26 to July 6, 1980, filed under Las Vegas file 183-618 in a case captioned "RICO Murder," time the arrivals and departures of Cullotta at the Upper Crust Pizzaria and the My Place lounge in Pioneer Plaza (Vault, Cullotta Part 01, as far as the OCR can be read).
  • 4 July 1980 — One log, for July 3 to 4, 1980, has the entry "Anthony Spilotro observed through front windows of UCP" at 1:35 AM, after entries recording Cullotta outside the pizzeria.
  • April 1982 — People v. Neumann, 148 Ill. App. 3d 362 (1986), an Illinois appellate opinion, says: "In April 1982, while imprisoned in Nevada, Frank Cullotta entered into an agreement with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)," and records his testimony that he lived in Chicago until 1978 and then moved to Las Vegas.

This page is limited to the records cited. The FBI Vault file is surveillance logs only, and states no role or family for him. The Illinois opinion is a state court record in a murder appeal in which he was the State’s witness. It is not a Spilotro case, and no federal opinion with him testifying against Spilotro was opened for this page. The people he was seen with in the logs are mostly unidentified and are not named here.
