Opinion of a state court. Under the government edicts doctrine (Georgia v. Public.Resource.Org, 2020) judicial opinions are not copyrightable. The text is served by CourtListener.

The Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals reviewed Henry Methvin’s conviction for the murder of Cal Campbell on April 6, 1934, at Commerce, Ottawa County, Oklahoma. The information charged that Methvin killed Campbell “while acting conjointly with Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker.” The court affirmed the conviction and modified the sentence of death to life imprisonment.

This is a state prosecution. Its facts are the information’s charge and the court’s review of the trial evidence. The FBI’s history page places the same killing “at Miami, Oklahoma”; the court record says Commerce, and this page follows the court.
